Another Evening at Fawlty Towers, Workshop Theatre

"Natalie Buckley is the stiff upper lipped Polly, the lone sane voice of reason always hoping to help support Basil’s panicked decisions, despite knowing full well that he is always as wrong as an overcoat on an ostrich."

The Love List, University of Lethbridge

"Pæons of praise should be given to director Raynah Bourne, and her great team–including three of the funniest and most accomplished actors I’ve ever seen in a student production"

"As Justine, Natalie Buckley probably had the hardest task:  she had to switch emotions,  turn on a dime and present an entirely different –sometimes  a totally contrasting– personality.  Ms Buckley is aided by an expressive voice, an engaging manner and a talent for accents (at one point turning into a Southern Belle) and can look both businesslike in a suit, and sexily seductive in a nightgown. Moreover, she was on stage virtually all evening. Just before the intermission, Justine had been given the virtue of tidiness, and Ms Buckley therefore spent the entire fifteen minutes carrying piles of newspapers and heaps of garbage off the unlit stage in preparation for the second half!  I had seen this actor once before as an impressive Helena in the open-air version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, but I was frankly thrilled by her performance last Friday night. Her emotional range is most impressive: this talented young lady has a real future in the theatre."

1000 Names, University of Lethbridge

"1000 Names, by Chelsea Woolley, is the finest piece of modern dramatic writing I have seen in more than a year; and the Director, Hannah Rud, and her admirable cast and crew, deserve as much credit as the brilliant young author."

"Natalie Buckley, playing the rather strait-laced, outwardly stern Perl Margelies is wonderful to watch. Tall, passionate, powerful, she displays a great range of emotion, and was particularly good when interacting with her teenage niece, Hanusia. [...] She had an excellent voice and manner, and portrayed to perfection the slow-growing, uncertain, but authentic friendship that developed between her and Martin Raeder."

A Midsummer Night's Dream, Lethbridge Shakespeare

"Hermia was clearly less experienced, while Helena, played by Natalie Buckley was more at ease on the stage.  Both ladies, however, played their roles cleverly and with diligence , particularly in the “flyting match” when both are hurling insults at one another [...] they were both highly convincing, and a joy to watch."
